And we are a foundation designed to help people understand the importance of giving back. After reading Psalms 23 regularly with his mother, six-year-old Caden Jackson told her what the Scripture meant to him. He said that it made him feel “Loved and Protected.”
Caden was inspired to give back to those children at his school who couldn’t afford necessities, the things that many of us take for granted. Using the resources that he had, young Caden gave back to those he saw in need. He now wants to empower other children to the same by giving what they already have.
The Loved & Protected Foundation is committed to encourage others to donate unused items that may be are sitting in the attic, the basement, or in the back of the closet. These items can be a blessing to someone going through hardships. The foundation also stresses the importance of being a good steward of what you have so that it could be given to someone in need. The foundation hopes to change the minds of youth and adults so that they can understand that they have a responsibility to take care of their possessions because they may be of value to someone in the future.
The foundation also wants to bridge the gap between those in need and those who want to help. Not only in our community but in communities around the nation. Caden wants to his foundation to be a resource for the underprivileged and help them feel, “Loved and protected.”
Caden’s has also released his first book titled,
